Before you can access government-subsidised aged care services for the first time, you’ll need to complete an assessment through My Aged Care. You can apply for this assessment online at www.myagedcare.gov.au/how-get-assessed, over the phone on 1800 200 422, or in person at a Services Australia centre.
If you are approved for Support at Home, you will receive a letter outlining the services and funding you’re eligible for. This may include approval for both ongoing and short-term care, depending on your assessed needs.
Once your funding is available, you can contact us on 1300 886 710. We will work with you to choose the right mix of services based on your needs and the budget allocated by the government. If your circumstances change in the future, you can request a re-assessment.
Support at Home offers a range of services designed to help you maintain your independence, comfort, and safety while living in your own home.
Our pricing is transparent – no hidden fees, setup fees, or exit fees. The government allocates a set amount of funding to support your services, with 10% automatically reserved for Care Management each quarter. Services Australia then determines whether you need to make a co-contribution based on the services you receive and what you can afford.
